Dennis Hatch proved unstoppable again as he cruised to his fifth Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour Stop victory this season and second at Diamond Eight Billiards. Diamond Eight saw a field of 43 of the top players in the Northeast and beyond.
Justin Hall turned in a great performance over the weekend, challenging Hatch for the “hot seat” (no losses). Hall was one shot away from taking a 8-6 lead over Hatch and potentially sending Hatch to the 1-loss side, but Hatch endured for the tight 9-7 win.

Thanks to the our many friends who competed in the stop to show their support, including Tom Acciavatti, Shawn Moulton, Frank Rich, Paul Picard, Paul Czajkowski, Jeff Smolen, and John Rich.
Thanks again to Mike Zuglan and his great tour, all the players, and especially all the spectators that came out to watch the great competition and support Diamond Eight. We really appreciate your help in bringing you this tour stop! Thanks again!

APA member Scott Lendin was another kind of champion this past weekend, as he won the custom and collectible Joss Cue! The cue is worth over $1000, and features a one-of-a-kind engraving for tour stop #9, and comes with a Joss “High Performance” shaft. Congratulations, Scott!
The final results are as follows:

- 2nd Justin Hall $1,000
- 3rd Dave Grau $800
