The Joss Northeast Tour dropped into Diamond Eight Billiards with yet another fantastic $2000 added season event. Included in the field of forty-five players that made their way through the brackets were not only many top northern regional players, but a few from outside of the area as well.
The weekend came to an end with Shin Young Park sitting pretty atop the winners side hot seat after sending Tony Chohan to the one-loss side in a close ending of 9-7. On the one-loss side, Mike Zuglan was sending players home one at a time after losing his first match to Marc Vidal. In his quest to reach the final round, Zuglan eventually ran into Vidal yet again, but ensured a different outcome as he bested him 9-5 which pitted him against Chohan in the semi-finals. With a win over Chohan of 9-7, Zuglan matched up with Park in the true double elimination final round, where he then took the first set from Park 9-7. Park fought back against Zuglan in the second set and ended the event with a 9-5 win to settle into first place.

Dennis Hatch made his way undefeated through the 37 player field to face Joey Korsiak for the hot-seat. Hatch dominated that match with a 9-4 win sending Korsiak to the left side of the board. Korsiak was just as dominating in his next match as he defeated Chance Chin 9-4 to earn another shot at Hatch in the finals.
