The Quick Sticks!

While Fall session has officially begun, Summer Session playoffs have had to be postponed because of “No Clue”‘s trip to Las Vegas. In 9-Ball, however, we finally have a winner!

The wild card, “Quick Sticks,” captained by Dave Wallace, defeated Frank Bogardus’ “Pool Nutz” to take home the coveted 9-Ball Summer Session trophies. “Quick Sticks” is a fairly new team, and had never won a session championship before. Not realizing there were trophies involved, an excited Dave Wallace could only exclaim, “What? What? What?” Congrats to them and 2nd place finishers “Pool Nutz,” who triumphed over Cindy Dominy’s “No Clue” in the first round. “Quick Sticks” edged out the 1st place “Blue’s Cues” to reach the session finals.
